Anklet Blog Hop...

Believe it or not, I had never designed an anklet before joining this hop.  That's kinda why I had to do it, and gladly accepted the challenge.  The wonderful and talented Kashmira Patel was the hostess with the mostess, and did a wonderful job organizing and keeping us on track.  Our mission?  To create an anklet or two, and have fun doing it.

Mission Accomplished:

Biggest lesson learned?  It's very difficult to be your own anklet model...sorry you cannot see how fun they look on!

Here is the list of participants...have fun hopping!!

  1. Love the one with the little butterflies and flower dangles! That one looks so fun to wear :) Does the bigger flower wear higher up the ankle? You should show the pictures! lol I showed mine with my stubbly little ankles ;) lol

    1. The bigger flower almost sits over the actual ankle bone, with the dangles in the hollow behind it. I wasn't sure if it would be comfortable when I started the design, but ended up wearing it the rest of the day. I may just have to break down and ask my hubby to take a couple shots for me to post...of my VERY stubbly ankles. ;-)

  2. These turned out great. Love the use of the ball chain with the little dangles and I like the gunmetal color too.

  6. Wonderful designs, Mimi... I love them both, and I too was amazed at your use of the ball chain. I love ball chain and have several types, also some ball and bar chain... definitely making anklets with those now!

  8. Both are so pretty! My favorite is the second one with the big flower and hanging dangle drops. Also love the use of the ball chain. :) Great job!

  9. Love the one with the big flower and dangles...they both are really light and summer looking...and it is very hard taking a pic of an anklet on yourself. I used my daughter and then she decided she wanted the two I made!

  10. Mimi, Both of them are very cute. I can quite visua;lize it. Beautiful color combination. It was my first try with anklets too but I think Kashmira enthused us much and I might be making more of them this summer.

  13. Wow!!! I love them both. The dragonflies & butterflies are gorgeous but I like the simplicity of flowers too. Each is unique in its own special way.
