With some of the leftover goodies from the soup Natasha sent, I also made this fun little bracelet with the funky clay beads she included:
My previous post shows the soup she sent, and I did add some of my private stash to the mix: the magnetic closure on the necklace; the enameled flowers on the necklace and bracelet focals; the silver flower charms in the necklace focal and dangling from the earrings; and the toggle bar on the bracelet.
It was so fun to work outside of my comfort zone for a change, and I realized how much I miss working with silver! A huge thank you to Natasha for making me a part of the soup, and to Lori Anderson at Pretty Things that organizes the whole meal!! Head over to either Natasha's or Lori's blogs to see the complete listing of those participating.

Love your designs Mimi! The necklace is stunning. The focal bead is beautiful and the way you framed it with the stamping is just gorgeous. Love the colour of the beads and your silver findings - great combination. What a fun and funky bracelet - so pretty and vibrant. I'm so glad you posted these and that Natasha sent you this stash :) x
ReplyDeleteI really love that necklace. The bracelet is really cool too.
ReplyDeletemimi, i LoVE them all!!! i love that they still turned out so true to your style! you have outdone yourself. that bracelet turned out really funky and fun--super cute! The clasp you added to the necklace is really striking and pulls it all together. I love the focal, too. It was killing me to wait this long to see your project--when i left the house at 7 this morning, it wasn't up yet ;).
ReplyDeleteThe 3 of you are making me blush! Thanks for the wonderful comments, and for always showing such support for my designs. I had soooo much fun doing this, and can't thank Natasha enough for the surprise soup! ♥
